“We engaged Ascough and Associates to design and project manage the building project at our house. It involved the installation of a spiral staircase with glazed enclosure and the internal alteration of rooms within the house affected by the extension.

Julia compiled a very detailed specification of works upon which prices were obtained from several builders. Our architect liaised regularly with the appointed builder and we felt that we could relay any concerns we had to Julia who then communicated these to the builders.
She was frequently on site to meet us and the builders and paid a lot of attention to detail.

It was a complicated project involving difficult angles and roof work and extension of an atrium to the main building of the house. We also had a separate company to do the spiral staircase and Julia liaised with them and managed this very efficiently.

Overall we were impressed by Julia’s professional approach to the whole project and we benefitted from her past experience of working with building companies.
